#TuesdayTreasure: #RockingSummerRomanceRead with @TinaGayle!

Good Morning Friends,

Today's treasure is, My Best Friend's Ex, a new release by Tina Gayle.....

She loved him first, but her best friend married him. Now, divorced Brooke must choose between her best friend and the man of her dreams.

Brooke Janson has loved Garrett Sawyer since she met him on her first day of high school. Now, he’s free to love her too.  Except, his ex-wife happens to be her best friend.
How can Brooke choose between a friend she’s known since kindergarten and the man her heart wants?

Excerpt:

“Hello, Brooke.”
Ignoring the sudden butterflies in her stomach, she waved a casual hand. “Hi, Garrett. It’s been awhile.”
“I believe it was just before Janet moved out, almost a year.”
“Janet told me about the divorce. I debated whether to call, but, well...I didn’t know what to say.” To cover her awkwardness, Brooke allowed the words to flow from her mouth as if she had vocal diarrhea. “I always considered you, my friend, too. We had such fun together.  I wanted to see if I could do anything for you, but I...”
Embarrassed by her rambling, she stared at the stuff in her cart; lettuce, fruit, protein bars, each one good for her.
Man, I need to pick up a box of cookies.
Forcing back the urge to binge on any tasty treat available, she recalled how his face lit up when he was excited, his deep belly laughter, and his willingness to listen when she had a problem.
Damn it, she didn’t blame him for the breakup. Well, maybe for not listening to her warning. She had told him that her friend had a natural tendency to throw responsibility to the wind. Still, Brook hadn’t wanted to take sides. Because it was incredibly hard to choose between two people she cared about, one a friend since kindergarten and the other the man of her dreams. Guilt sparked inside her.
Why? Did she still want more than just to be his friend? Was this her chance?
“Don’t worry, I’m over it now. I bought a house, which requires most of my time. I spent last weekend putting in a new hot-water heater. The old one leaked.” Garrett brushed a hand through his dark, curly hair. The silky strands fell back into place without distracting from the perfect picture he represented.

Sexy, hot, and totally off limits.

My Best Friend's Ex can be purchased at Amazon!

Tina Gayle grew up a dreamer and loved to escape into the world of books.

After years of working in the business world doing a variety of jobs, she decided to try her hand at writing and hope to incorporate the joy of being a mother into her books.

Currently working on a series about four executive wives, she is excited about combining elements of women fiction with the passion of romance. The  first  three books, “Marketing Exec’s Widow”, “IT Exec’s Baby” and now “CFO’s Affair” have all been released. The last one will be out next year.

Married twenty-five years, she and her husband love to travel and play golf.  She can’t wait for Mike to retire so they can do more of both.
Read the first chapter of any of her books by visiting her website.

Saturday Spotlight - The Visionary!

Hello Friends,

You may find it odd that I'm spotlighting one of my own titles, but hey....if I don't tell you about them, who will? LOL!

Seriously, I decided to give you a sneak peak at one of my books or stories every month!

This week, I'm sharing The Visionary with you because it is FREE! on Kindle Select Tomorrow (3/31) and Monday (April 1st).... No Fooling!

A visionary is someone who sees into the future Taylor Forrestier sees into the past but only as it pertains to her work. Hailed by her peers as “a visionary with an instinct for beauty and an eye for the unique” Taylor is undoubtedly a brilliant architect and gifted designer. But she and twin brother Trevor, share more than a successful business. The two share a childhood wrought with lies and deceit and the kind of abuse that’s disgustingly prevalent in today’s society.  Can the love of God and the awesome healing power of His grace and mercy free the twins from their past and open their hearts to the good plan and the future He has for their lives?  Find out in…The Visionary ~ Where the awesome power of God's love heals the most wounded of souls.

EXCERPT:
The house, a mere box of a building, seemed sturdy despite its state of disrepair and years of neglect. Taylor fished in her pocket for a piece of charcoal and began to sketch the structure. When Alex spoke of changes and additions, she forced her mind off the way his voice feathered over her and added to the drawings. She flipped to a fresh page and drew the wallpaper pattern then found a spot where it had pulled away from the wall. She took a penknife out of her pocket, slid the blade under the paper and carefully cut a section and placed the piece in the book along with her sketch. A mental list of companies which specialized in the reproduction of old wallpaper and paneling patterns became notations alongside the sketch and sample.
She listened when Trevor noted aloud the quality of wood that could be restored or repaired to maintain the integrity of the original house. When he and Alex went outside she stayed in to examine walls and floors. She took notes of the hand-carved trim work, antique cook stove, and pot-bellied wood stove, but her mind continued to circle around the sound of Alex’s voice and the light in his eyes when he looked at her.
She had no idea why he affected her so and welcomed the moments alone to focus on the job at hand. Her mind traveled back a few hours to her jog around the Civic Center, and she recalled with vivid clarity the moment she had passed by the bench where he sat. Their eyes had met for only a brief moment but she’d felt the warmth of his gaze clear to her toes. No one had ever touched her heart, much less jumbled her mind, with a simple gaze or smile.
She shook her head with a sigh and picked her way carefully up the ragged stairs, then stepped into what was once a loft or attic. The house reeked of history, from cypress-covered exterior walls and interior walls of bare wood, to the hardwood floors made of oak, the boxed staircase, and the wooden shutters with crosses carved out of the center.
Taylor knew the cuts were used to slip a gun barrel through in order to protect the property and family. Though a bit of a struggle, she managed to open one window and shutter. Sunlight filtered in to chase shadows from the room.
A glimpse of splendor, a glimmer of brilliance caught her eye, like fairy dust dancing on sunlight. She turned her head with caution when a pulse at the base of her skull began to throb and familiar vibrations stole over her. She lowered herself to the floor and let the sensations envelop her. Her eyesight blurred, fingers trembled and heartbeat quickened while her mind swam with images. Visions guided her hand until she filled the remainder of the sketchbook.

The Visionary is also available in Hardcover @ Amazon or Barnes & Noble - OR you can get an autographed copy directly from me! Email for details.

Saturday Spotlight ~ On Friday!

Hello Friends and welcome once again to Saturday Spotlight. This week I'm featuring not one, but TWO releases from White Rose Publishing! and since I wasn't able to post last Saturday due to the volume of work involved in moving - I'm giving you this week's spotlight a day early!

Last week's release is Return to Me by Deborah Pierson Dill and is available in Ebook & Print!
Leaving her was his worst regret.

Returning to her is his only hope.

Audrey Rhodes once walked the straight and narrow, but a terrible mistake changed the direction her life. Now former boyfriend and bad boy, Brent Thomason, is back in Blithe Settlement claiming newfound faith in God. Audrey's feelings for Brent haven't changed, but she has. Her life is in shambles. How can she be worthy of this new Brent's love?

Brent Thomason isn't proud of his past. Audrey had been his friend and his love, and he betrayed her. Now a veterinarian, he's returned home to work with Audrey's dad and make restitution for his misdeeds. Brent finds it's not so easy for people to accept his changed ways; still he must make things right with those he hurt, starting with Audrey.

As God directs their paths, Audrey discovers forgiveness is a two-edged sword...especially when she must first forgive herself. And Brent must accept God's will--even if it means losing Audrey a second time.

This week award-winning author-team, KM Daughters takes us back into the heart of the Adriatic where the sky is as brilliant as the sea and love abounds! In volume one of Gospa Journeys, join Emma and Sam as they discover faith, hope and love.

Despite Sam Mackenzie's deep-rooted belief that marriage can turn two loving people into monsters, his all-encompassing love for Emma Jordan spurs him to propose before leaving the country bound for Valselo, the Adriatic village where millions believe the Mother of God speaks to three visionaries.

Despite Emma's love for Sam, she is unable to envision a life in a remote town on a distant continent. Emma refuses his proposal and spends the next three years making a life without Sam. When she's left at the altar, a loving conspiracy between her parents and parish priest-Sam's uncle-brings Emma to Valselo and an inevitable reunion with Sam. God seems to be orchestrating a second chance, but both believe they have had good reasons to turn away from God's guidance. Will they listen to Our Lady's messages which call humanity to open their hearts to God's mercy and love? Or will they lose each other a second and final time?

Left at the Altar is available now!

Well Friends, that wraps up this (and last) week's edition of Saturday Spotlight. Stay tuned for more great releases from White Rose Publishing and who knows, I may throw in a different author up on Spotlight from time to time LOL!

Next week I'm hosting JoAnn Carter on her blog tour and after that, Kathi Macias on her's so you'll be getting lots of new books for your summer reading!

Speaking of summer reading...don't forget all of my titles are available on Kindle and Nook!

Until later....take care, God Bless and remember....when the going gets tough, the tough get on their knees.
