A Novel Lunch ™ Beginning Writer Workshop

Have you longed to write a book but have no idea where to start?

Do you feel as though there aren’t enough hours in the day and are afraid to add one more thing to your schedule?

Do you search online for help or direction only to be overwhelmed by the number of “offers” out there that don’t speak to where you are right now?

Does the sheer volume of information out there only add to your frustration? Make you feel inadequate or just plain confused?

You know what you want to do – get your message out to the world in that novel or nonfiction book – but doubt, fear and imposter syndrome keep you stuck or stop you cold?

Perhaps you've begun your project but never finished because you feel as though you have no idea what you’re doing.

OR

You've had a particular story or NF idea rattling around in your head for years but never sat down to write because you fear no one will want to hear what you have to say.

Maybe you have been writing in “starts and fits,” jumping up in a panic for any number of reasons and you've never really committed to fulfilling this dream.

If any of these scenarios resonate with you...

Take a moment, close your eyes and just imagine the joy, excitement and sense of accomplishment when you put The End on that project you’ve been dreaming of for years.

Nothing, and I mean Nothing, beats that!

A Novel Lunch™ beginning writer workshop, will give you the tips, tricks and tools you need to write and finish your novel or nonfiction book utilizing your lunch (or any other) hour.

Yes, in Just 1 Hour a Day at the Special Introductory Price of Only $88.00!

Hello, My Name is Pamela S Thibodeaux and I was once where you are. I understand the ins and outs of starting a writing career while working a full time job, raising a family, yada, yada, yada, but look where I am today...

*Over 40 years writing experience (20+ published; 10+ as a professional editor/interior book designer)

*Sixteen titles and numerous articles and essays to my credit.

*CoFounder of Bayou Writer's Group

*Many satisfied clients

In A Novel Lunch™, we will begin with the basics of setting up your manuscript, organizing your day to make time to write, addressing and learning how to deal with or (preferably) overcome the doubts and fears every author faces when they stare at that blank screen/page.

Sessions Include...

*What are You Writing? You'll get a basic introduction to the different genres and tropes and what they entail to determine exactly what your book is about and where it will fit on bookstore shelves.

*Conflict/Goal/Motivation - The meaning of each of these essential elements of a story (yes even nonfiction) and identify them for your particular project. You will also figure out Your Personal Goal for writing, What Conflicts You may Face, and How to Stay Motivated and Keep Writing when they arise.

*What Kind of Writer are you? Learn the different types of writers (plotter, panster, hybrid), which one you are and how utilizing this knowledge and writing within your personal style will enhance your writing experience and help you feel successful. Understanding yourself is the first step in working in the most effecient way that fits you and your lifestyle.

*Ready, Set, Write: Now that you’ve identified the who/what/why and when of your writing project it’s time to go to work!

*Set up your manuscript the proper way so you’ll be prepared to send that baby out when it’s ready!

*Pinpoint your time to write and schedule it into your calendar. Making a clear-cut decision and a promise to yourself to not die with your dream still in you is a powerful declaration to God/the Universe that you’re listening and obeying the desires of your heart.

*Identify what has been/is stopping you and put that to rest. Knowing your roadblocks help you turn them into stepping stones!

A Novel Lunch™ beginning writers workshop will kick off with a *Meet & Greet on May 27th. By the time we finish up on June 17th, you'll be well on your way to completing your novel or nonfiction project!
