#SaturdaySpotlight is on Tony Paul de Vissage and Absinthe Eternal

Good Morning!

Last year I introduced you to Tony-Paul de Vissage and his book Essence of Absinthe. Today Tony returns with a sneak peek into book 3 of his trilogy, Absinthe Eternal so please welcome him back!

David Varine, star of Ghost Search International, a highly-rated supernaturally-themed reality show, is on assignment. At the request of the New Orléans Historical Society, he’s come to the Big Easy to prove the stately old mansion called Nouvel Espoir is haunted.

It’s said the spirit of Absinthe, accursed son of the original owner, haunts the mansion, with his lover, but David’s a skeptic. He doesn’t believe in ghosts, curses, and any of that ‘supernatural hogwash.’ He’s only in the ghost-hunting business for the money.

Once inside Nouvel Espoir, however, David’s skepticism rapidly disappears. There are too many odd things happening, things he can’t ignore. When his cameraman arrives, the two will be forced to face whatever walks the mansion by night.

Absinthe wants something from them…but what…?

EXCERPT:

As I arrived at the top of the stairs, however, I saw that the door to what I’d already begun to think of as my bedroom was ajar.

Hadn’t Kathy pulled it shut as she followed the others out? I remembered…every room they went into, she entered first but was always the last to leave, shutting any doors behind her.

“Maybe it didn’t close properly.” I spoke aloud, one of my defenses against latent creepiness. Some people whistled in the dark; I talked to myself. Loudly.

Crossing to the door, I stopped, then looked back.

“Something’s different. What…?” It took me a moment to realize I’d walked through the cold spot on the landing, only now, it wasn’t cold. Hurrying back, I stood where I’d experienced that frosty breath and icy shiver. I exhaled, blowing out loudly.

Nothing. Not even a wisp of vapor.

An episodic cold spot. Never seen that before. I didn’t like that.

Abruptly, I got that someone’s-watching-me feeling, that little prickle of the skin.  I spun, pushed the door wider and hurried inside…and skidded to a halt, staring at the figure sitting in the chair.
The Absinthe mannequin reclined in the hearthside chair, exactly as it had before.

“Well, now.” To my own ears, my voice sounded forced, too loud. “How did you get back in here?”

I was certain Kathy had been with the group as we went downstairs. Did she linger behind, going back into Étienne’s bedroom and retrieving the figure, replacing it in the chair before she joined the others?

Possibly. I couldn’t say definitely she was with them every minute. All I remembered was watching her guide everyone to the front door.

Maybe she had orders that the mannequins had to stay in their assigned room, and she’d removed it only to placate that one uneasy tourist, and then had to put it back.

“Unh-uh.” I held up a finger, waggling it back and forth as if the mannequin were about to offer some excuse for its return.  “None of that.”

It remained silent, of course, staring at me out of those remarkable green eyes.

I asked myself what I would’ve done if there had been a sound just then, even the creak of a beam…

What the hell’s the matter with me? I never get spooked like this. Anger rose at that.  I’m David Varine, GSI’s chief investigator, and scary stories don’t frighten me. Besides, I don’t believe in this stuff.

Stooping, I wrapped an arm around the figure’s waist and lifted it as Kathy had. It was remarkably light. Carrying it across the hall, I opened the door to the other bedroom, and with the barest hesitation, stamped inside.

I dropped the figure unceremoniously into the chair, Damned if it doesn’t resemble the portrait. The face was framed by black, shoulder-length hair. It had the thickness and texture of real hair. I wondered if it was. Had some human’s flowing locks been purchased for this artificial being?
Thinking back to what Kathy had said about Absinthe, I realized if he’d actually looked like this. If so…oh, the boy must’ve been a beauty…the killer handsome kind.

I rummaged mentally for my college French. “Bon nuit.” With a jerky bow—and why did I do that?—I hurried to the door and went out, slamming it behind me.

I was stepping across the threshold into my own room when I heard the faint creak. I glanced back.
The door to Étienne’s room slowly and gracefully swung open.

My...oh my!.....if you're into Sci-Fi, fantasy, horror and thrillers this sounds like your kind of read! Absinthe Eternal can be purchased in paperback exclusively from Class Act Books! Also available on Kindle.

#SaturdaySpotlight is on Tony-Paul de Vissage & Essence of Absinthe

Good Morning Friends!

I'm running behind schedule and getting ready to head to Nacogdoches, TX to watch Stephen F Austin's cheer and dance teams perform their national routines so there's not going to be a lot of chit chat.

Today's guest, brought to us by Class Act Books, is new to me so please give Tony-Paul de Vissage a warm, SW LA welcome!

A writer of French Huguenot extraction, one of Tony-Paul de Vissage’s first movie memories is of being six years old, viewing the old Universal horror flick, Dracula’s Daughter on television, and being scared sleepless—and he’s now paying back his very permissive parents by writing about the Undead.

Now let's find out more about Tony's book.... The Essence of Absinthe

The noble family of Vaurien has secrets, and one Étienne Vaurien and his wife have suppressed for twenty years is about to be discovered. Taking his family from France to escape the murmur of revolution places his son David in mortal danger.

A city may change but some things remain the same. Hatred and the desire for revenge are at the top of the list. David’s resemblance to Étienne’s deceased eldest son, Absinthe, is remarked upon by many but to one person it means more than a mere likeness of features.
Geneviéve, mistress to both Étienne and Absinthe, has pined twenty years for her younger lover. Now, she has a chance to get him back…and she isn’t going to let death stop her.
In a short time, David’s living body will house the spirit of a dead man who wants once again to live…and love.

EXCERPT:

“Come.” She pulled him to his feet and led him to the foot of the bed, where an elaborately framed cheval glass stood. Positioning David before it, she said, “Look into the glass.”

He obeyed, studying his reflection with near-narcissistic approval.

Carrying the herb jars, Mathilde came through the doorway. Seeing David naked before the mirror, she stumbled to a halt, staring.

David turned back to his reflection. The movement brought Mathilde to life. Thrusting the two jars at Geneviéve as if eager to rid herself of them, she stepped back. She’d removed the corks and from one a sweet-peppery scent wafted into the air. A second pine-like scent floated from the other.

“So, what am I to do?” David asked, gesturing to his reflection. “Stand here and admire my image? What is it I should see?”

“You’ll find out in a moment, chérie.” Shaking a handful of the contents onto her palm, Geneviéve gave Mathilde back the jars and took a step closer to David. She tossed a pinch of grains of Paradise at him, following it with yew. “Reach into the grave and bring those who love together again.”

The dark brown grains flew into the air, floating around David. Short stiff needles of the yew tree landed on his bare shoulders, black splinters against his skin.
He stared into the mirror, brows nearly meeting as behind his image, a cloud of dust motes stirred. They rose into the air, swirling and blending…

Behind David’s image, the falling herbs coiled into visible strands, golden threads tangling. It joined the haze of dust motes, spinning to coalescing into a vague man-like silhouette…

Wow...sounds interesting! Thanks for sharing Tony. You can purchase Essence of Absinthe at the following locations:

#SaturdaySpotlight is on Juanita Aydlette & It's in the Blood

Good Morning Friends!

Today we welcome Juanita Aydlette back with a peek into her book, It's in the Blood....

Never stare at a shirtless hunk with green eyes. Gabrielle Madsen is drawn in by such a pair of eyes that captures her soul and leaves her a prisoner of an addictive kind of love--not that she's complaining. But her educational trip turns out to be more than just a fun-filled summer escapade.

She’s faced with a life-changing decision that could affect the world around her. Her discovery of this ancient, legend-come-to-life proves to be deadly, but her heart can’t break away. She and Josh Van Ness fall in love and must battle the forces that want to keep them apart.

EXCERPT:

Away from the open menagerie was a path surrounded by dense trees. It was across a narrow decorative bridge built into the landscape. The thick greenery provided a shady side to the open garden. A spotlight created by the sun beckoned to me from inside and I walked away from the others. My eyes were fixed on the pink and red groundcover that glimmered with a hypnotic seduction. I ventured toward the fragrant breeze, unaware of how far I had strayed.

After only a few yards inside the cover of the trees, my body was seized again by a rumble and a frightening snarl. A chill blanketed me and I couldn’t move. I didn’t dare look around, for the back of my blouse had already been saturated by the heated moisture from the breath of the beast. My first instinct was to scream, but fear had stolen my voice. So I took a deep breath and held it. The scent of horror filled my lungs. It was familiar. Was I being stalked by the animal that lurked outside my hotel grounds?

Help me please, rang inside my head. My eyes squeezed shut as its sharp fangs pinched my shoulder. Tears filled my eyes and my hands formed a fist. I waited to feel my bones snap when suddenly, it let go. The leaves crunched. The sound grew fainter by the second, then nothing. My eyes remained closed as I trembled and listened.

“Miss?” A woman’s voice severed my nightmare. “I saw you come out here. We’re getting ready to go to another area. You don’t want to be left behind.”

Without hesitation I ran past her, clutching my throat and sobbing. The other tourists were boarding the van and I made my way to the back. The woman I believed saved me from certain death, came and sat beside me.

“Hi. My name is Kara. Are you okay?” She placed her hand on my shoulder.

“Did you see anything?” I searched her eyes for a confirmation. “An animal? It was behind me.”

“I’m sorry, I didn’t see anything,” she said and smiled.

“Was it a spider?” the little lady with the blinding yellow blouse asked.

“No. Never mind, Kara. I guess I’m just tired. Thank you for checking on me.”

“You’re welcome, you take care.” She quickly returned to her seat.

My body trembled as the bus came to stop. I ran from the tourist center to the hotel. Once inside the bathroom, I stripped and examined my shoulder. A painful bruise was both in front and in back. I cried out loud, shook convulsively, and then laughed hysterically. Was I going mad?

#ThursdayThoughts with Juanita Aydlette

Good Morning Friends!

Today's guest, Juanita Aydlette is new to me and therefore, new to our blog and is brought to us by Class Act Books.

Juanita Aydlette was born in Shreveport, Louisiana.  She presently resides in Garland, Texas with her husband and little dog. After many years of procrastinating, she decided to fulfill her life-long dream to become a published author.

It was after reading a series of novels that brought back memories of her childhood obsession with fairies, leprechauns, genies and unicorns, that she stepped out on faith and began her journey.

A year later, she has completed her present novel “IT’S IN THE BLOOD”, a love story full of mystery, intrigue and magic. The upcoming sequel “BLOOD TIES” continues the saga that plagues the lives of the Caiubi family. BLOOD TIES is targeted for release in 2017.

Find out more about Juanita at:

Nice to meet you, Juanita! Now let's see what thoughts Juanita has to share with us...

First of all, I'd like to say, thank you for having me.

Today, I would like to talk about how I go completely blank when I'm asked to talk about anything I want. I'm very good at answering specific questions, so a Q&A session works best for me. I think it's because, when I'm given the opportunity to talk about anything I want, it'll most likely be about my pets or dogs in general. I never had any kids and my dogs are great substitutes.

I have two small dogs—which is a bit unusual for me. I've always had big dogs in the past, but little dogs are so entertaining. Now, I have two females, a yorkie mix and a shih tzu. They are both rescues; one eight months ago and the other, one month ago. They love each other and they play around the clock.

I work for a vet, which has been my most fulfilling job. I get to play with a lot of different furry critters with different personalities. This keeps me from wanting to bring home every stray that happens to wind up at the clinic. I've had to witness some very sad moments also, when it comes to an owner having to make the ultimate decision when a pet is sick and suffering. I grieve for them, as if they were my own pets.

Being a pet owner has about as many challenges as being a parent, because you have this living, breathing life depending on you for its every need. Pets are very loyal family members, loving you unconditionally. They don't care how young or old you are, or the color of your skin.

I truly admire all the families who've taken on the challenge of fostering pets until they can find a fur-ever home.

How sweet! I'm sure many of our visitors can relate. I'm a pet lover too and have a German Shepherd :-)

Juanita's book, It's in the Blood, a fantasy suspense novel can be purchased directly from Class Act Books, on Amazon and at Smashwords.

Hope you enjoyed today's post and I hope to see you again soon for Tuesday Treasures, Thursday Thoughts and Saturday Spotlight.

Until next time...take care and God Bless!

#SaturdaySpotlight is on MJ Schiller & her FREE book!

Good Morning!

Today's spotlight guest is not a total stranger to our blog. MJ Schiller has shared some thoughts as well as treasures with us. But today we're spotlighting her new book which is FREE through today!

Sir Darius Lee is a Knight of the High Order.
But when Darius discovers a stranger in his room in the middle of the night, and the intruder turns out to be a beautiful woman, he begins to question how he is meant to live his life.

Princess Megan of Bethyea is being held captive.

But when two knights help her to escape and bring her back to her home planet, she finds the home she knew no longer exists.

When The Council of Twelve questions Darius about his relationship with Maggie, she tries to flee from The Academy of the High Order to prevent him from losing his knighthood.

Will Darius and Orion find Maggie before she leaves Albion? And if they do, how can they face the decision of The Council? And what about the feelings Orion has developed for the princess?

Excerpt ~
Orion had blown it again. He reviewed his actions to determine where things had gone astray.

He’d been sleeping restlessly. A loud THUMP in the co-living quarters alerted him and his eyes flew open. He threw back his covers and was out of the bed in a flash. His sword was in his hands as he crossed to the threshold of his doorway in two long strides. Hoping to gain the advantage of surprise, he leapt through the doorway, his laser-sword held aloft. In seconds, he took in the situation. His master sat on the couch talking to a figure in a guard’s uniform. At first he didn’t get a good view because the stranger was partially blocked by Darius’s broad back, but when the guard jumped off the couch he saw it was a girl, close to his own age. She scurried away like a frightened animal, her long hair flying behind her. Wide eyes shined as she glanced behind at her pursuers. She was out the door in a matter of seconds.

It was painfully evident his master had the situation well in hand and wasn’t in any sort of danger. He chided himself for his rash actions.

This was only his second mission with his master and he wanted so badly to get things right. He‘d been thrilled when Darius Lee had chosen him to be his novice. The man was known throughout The Academy as good and wise, an exemplary Knight, whose fighting skills were legendary. Darius had advanced well beyond other Knights his age and was said to be more level-headed than most. Orion knew he could learn a lot from Darius. In the short time they had been together they had already grown quite close.

Orion’s peers had teased him about his admiration for his mentor, saying it verged on idolatry. He did feel a bond with Darius. Perhaps because he’d never formed relationships with an adult male before. Maybe he did allow himself to look at the Knight as a father figure. Who could blame him when he’d never had a father to call his own? He knew he was lucky to be here with Darius. The world outside The Academy could be intimidating, but with him in charge, Orion believed the two could take on the world and all other comers.

But tonight it was clear he had failed.

When would he learn to think before jumping?

Leap into the Knight can be purchased at Amazon, B&N, Kobo & I-tunes ... BUT MJ is offering a FREE 3-copy to anyone who requests one! Simply email her at: mjschillerauthor@gmail.com and she will gift you a copy through Amazon!

M.J. Schiller is a lunch lady/romance-romantic suspense writer. She enjoys writing novels whose characters include rock stars, desert princes, teachers, futuristic Knights, construction workers, cops, and a wide variety of others. In her mind everybody has a romance.

She is the mother of a twenty-year-old and three eighteen-year-olds. That's right, triplets! So having recently taught four children to drive, she likes to escape from life on occasion by pretending to be a rock star at karaoke. However…you won’t be seeing her name on any record labels soon.

#ThursdayThoughts: #EggcerptExchange with Janie Frantz

Good "Holy Thursday" Morning!

Today is the day of our Lord's Last Supper and I can cheerfully say our last Eggcerpt Exchange!

I hope you've enjoyed finding out about so many authors, books and characters in this year's blog exchange.

Today our guest is a new-to-me author, Janie Frantz with her book, The Bowdancer, so let's get right on into it....

Jan-nell, a young healer and keeper of village lore, despairs of ever finding the child who will be the next bowdancer or a man worthy enough to love. When a village wedding is interrupted by four strangers, Jan-nell treats the injuries of one of them.

The leader of these men, Bastin, is an arrogant, intelligent rogue who also is searching for an equal. His presence questions the bowdancer's life choice and stirs more than her mind.

Eggcerpt:
The arrow flamed in a yellow arc across the night sky, like a trailing star portending some great event. And in truth it did this night, the night of the Great Moon of Full Summer. This night the bowdancer’s arrow signaled a solemn rite and a village celebration—the union of Merin, the tall horserider, and Co-rell, the blonde chosen-daughter of Wise Woman Dan-da-nell.

They were often seen among the white mares in the meadow. Merin’s long hair flowed behind him as he raced to grab a handful of yellow-white horse mane nearly the same color as his own. He would swing himself upon a sleek back of one of the mares and come racing to scoop Co-rell high onto the horse with him, cradling her in his arms like a happy squealing child.

Jan-nell, the bowdancer, knocked the last burning signal arrow against her bowstring. She smiled as her mind composed the quatrains of an idyll to the horserider and his bride: white against white like playful doves, spirit folk.

When she released the arrow to call in the stragglers from the outlying farms, she shook her head and altered her imagery. No, not spirit folk, just sleek horses riding the meadows enjoying the fullness of coupling and sweet grass. But this young stallion and his mare would grace the village children’s tales and lessons. Jan-nell would see to that. Co-rell and Merin were the stuff of legends. She would gladly give the young ones a dream. They need not know that Merin could not speak a sentence without coloring the shade of a retiring sun and much preferred the silent movements of horses to men.

Jan-nell had spent too many early mornings drilling Merin in the wedding words he was to speak to Co-rell. There were only five short speeches, but they were impossible for him to remember, much less speak them to a woman. Finally, on this wedding morn, he had been able to say the words to Jan-nell without much stumbling. She did not know if he could repeat them at moon-rise to Co-rell.

Jan-nell frowned as she ducked into her solitary thatched hut some little distance from the village edge. She wondered why she remained with such simple wits. From a shelf above the stone fireplace she had laid with her own hands, she brought down a pot of scented oil and set it on the hearth to warm. Taking a small piece of cloth, she wiped the smoke from her large bow.

The Bowdancer can be purchased at Muse it Up Publishing, Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

Janie Franz comes from a long line of Southern liars and storytellers. She told  other people’s stories as a freelance journalist for many years. With Texas wedding DJ, Bill Cox, she co-wrote The Ultimate Wedding Ceremony Book and The Ultimate Wedding Reception Book, and then self-published a writing manual, Freelance Writing: It’s a Business, Stupid!

She also published an online music publication, was an agent/publicist for a groove/funk band, a radio announcer, and a yoga/relaxation instructor.

Currently, she is writing her tweveth novel and a self-help book, Starting Over: Becoming a Woman of Power.

Questions for Janie Franz
1. Level of schooling: I have a BA in Anthropology.
2. Birthplace: I was born in a tiny town in Tennessee that if you drove through it with someone and reached down to pick up your purse, you’d miss it.
3. Currently residing in: I currently live in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I couldn’t get away from mountains. They are different from those near my birth but mountains just the same.
4. Favorite place to visit: I’m torn between two cities in the Deep South. Savannah GA and New Orleans LA. They both hold such charm and hospitality.
5. Favorite food: A beef, bean, and rice burrito with green sauce with lots of sour cream and a margarita. I’m a product of my new environment.

Well that is a switch, we normally get those answers from a character but I'm glad Janie did something totally different for her post! And, such interesting information too.

I hope you enjoyed this Eggcerpt Exchange. I know it's going to be a busy weekend for many, but if you get a chance be sure and drop by for Saturday Spotlight then check next week for Tuesday Treasures and Thursday Thoughts!

Until next time...take care and God Bless.

#SaturdaySpotlight: Deliverance by Katie Clark!

Good Morning Friends,

Last month I introduced you to Katie Clark with her book, Vanquished (book 1 in her YA Dystopian "Enslaved" series). Well today Katie returns with book 2, Deliverance!

Hana is Greater. It’s a future she never envisioned for herself, but she’s not about to ignore the opportunity she’s been given--the opportunity to find answers about her Mom, Jamie, and Fischer. This could be an opportunity to tell others the truth about God and uncover the secrets the Great Supreme has been keeping from their small, struggling nation.

When Hana’s search brings her to the mysterious prison she’s only heard of in rumors, the desire to get inside drives her to dig deeper for answers, but what she uncovers may be bigger than them all.

Can she save herself and the others before the Great Supreme realizes what she's doing, or will she give up everyone she loves in her quest for the truth?

Excerpt: I take a shaky breath and step toward the bed and dressing closet. I only have one bag of clothes. It will never fill up the closet.
But when I open the door I gasp. Clothes line the inside, clothes similar to the ones Sindy wore. Torn pants, grungy tops, and unraveling scarves. Oddly enough, they don’t seem old. They have tags on them.
At least I won’t stand out at dinner, or anywhere else in the city.
My bag makes a thud when it hits the bottom of the closet. I only want one thing from it—Mom’s perfume. I don’t remember the last time she wore it, but I can remember her by its scent. I unscrew the lid and bring it to my nose. Memories pulse through me. A hospital room. Sunken cheeks. Weary eyes.
The nightstand has a drawer and I shove the perfume inside. Next time I will remember happy things.
The door to the bathroom is on the other side of the closet. It whooshes open when I step close and I peek inside.
It's huge! A tub big enough to lie in sits in one corner, and a mirror with lights around it hangs above the sink. The bathroom at home is barely big enough for two people to squeeze in side by side and the shower doesn’t have enough room to turn around in. This bathroom could fit four people or more.
I gaze at the tub, wondering what the hot water allowance is here. How would it feel to float in a tub of warm water?

Deliverance can be purchased at Pelican Book Group  Amazon   Barnes and Noble

KATIE CLARK started reading fantastical stories in grade school and her love for books never died. Today she reads in all genres; her only requirement is an awesome story! She writes young adult speculative fiction, including her upcoming YA supernatural, Shadowed Eden

You can connect with her at her website, on Facebook, or on Twitter.

Hope you enjoyed this week's spotlight, Friends!

Check back next week for another Tuesday Treasure, Thursday Thoughts and of course, Saturday Spotlight!

Virtual Blog Tour - Janalyn Voigt!

Hi Friends!

I, along with Kathy Carlton Willis Communications, is pleased to bring to you Janalyn Voigt with her book, Dawn Singer! Janalyn is a fellow Pelican Book Group author and I do believe this is her debut novel! So without much further ado....

Janalyn Voigt’s epic fantasy trilogy, Tales of Faeraven, starting withDawnSinger, is published by Harbourlight Books. Janalyn also writes in the western romance genre. She is represented by Barbara Scott of Wordserve Literary. Her nonfiction publication credits include Focus on the Family, Scripture Press (now David C. Cook) and Pentecostal Evangel. She serves as a literary judge for several national contests and is an active book reviewer. Her memberships include ACFW and NCWA. Janalyn lives in a quiet corner of the Pacific Northwest, where she discovers worlds of adventure in the great outdoors.

CREATING WORLDS OF BEAUTY AND DANGER

Paradoxical Truths Revealed

A new speculative fiction story releases this summer that captures several paradoxical truths, including: freedom comes through sacrifice – AND – victory comes through surrender. allegorical fantasy readers will be spellbound by the incredible imagery and symbolism throughout DawnSinger, authored by Janalyn Voigt. Some of the key points in the book include:

Freedom through sacrifice. When the willful but reverent main character, Shae, learns her secret identity, she has to decide whether to accept her true calling. Although it may cost her everything, the salvation of a nation hangs in the balance. Shae represents the church. We each must lay down our will and our lives to bring freedom to others.

Overcoming prejudice with unity. In DawnSinger, the clash is not over color of skin but between classes of being. Elderland was already inhabited by the Elder nation when the Kindren entered it from another world through a gate that closed behind them. The Elder accepted the Kindren's occupation of Elderland because they didn't want to live in the areas where they settled—areas within reach of garns (goblenesque creatures) and welkes (giant birds of prey). DawnSinger opens as an unknown enemy stirs strife between Kindren and Elder in an attempt to divide and conquer Elderland. As a result, the alliance of Faeraven, a group of Kindren kingdoms ruled by a widowed High Queen, begins to fall apart. This story arc, which spans three novels, is based in large part on Voigt’s father's experiences of prejudice as a half-breed Native American.

Serving rather than ruling. As the High Queen's health fails, Kai, the hero of DawnSinger, must choose whether to reign and rule in his homeland or to continue in service to the new High King at her death. Kai's decision inspires Shae to make her own.

Conquering fear by not letting it consume you. In Pilaer Hold, an ancient place of defeat for the Kindren, wraiths rush toward Kai and Shae's other protectors. They draw their swords, but the more wraiths they dispatch, the more arise. They learn that to defeat fear, something else is needed.

The High Queen is dying... At the royal summons, Shae mounts a wingabeast and soars through the air to the high hold of Faeraven, where all is not as it seems. Visions warn her of danger, and a dark soul touches hers in the night. When she encounters an attractive but disturbing musician, her wayward heart awakens. But then there is Kai, a guardian of Faeraven and of Shae. Secrets bind him to her, and her safety lies at the center of every decision he makes. On a desperate journey fraught with peril and the unknown, they battle warlike garns, waevens, ferocious raptors, and the wraiths of their own regrets. Yet, they must endure the campaign long enough to release the DawnKing—and the salvation he offers—into a divided land. To prevail, each must learn that sometimes victory comes only through surrender.

Dawn Singer is available in Ebook & Print! Also @ Amazon.com and other online outlets.

As with all KCWC blog tours there is a grand prize drawing for a $25 Starbucks gift card and an autographed copy of Dawn Singer!

I've read this book and let me tell you, this is some amazing writing! I'm not much on fantasy and can't even imagine creating whole new worlds but this book grabbed me from the beginning and didn't let go. I read it in one day - forgetting all other things I had to do....the setting, descriptions and poetic prose kept me turning pages and I can hardly wait for the second book in the trilogy!

Well friends I certainly hope you enjoy this Virtual Book Tour. Stay tuned for our next Saturday Spotlight this weekend!

Until later...take care & be blessed!
