Saturday Spotlight - Loretta Craig!

Hi Friends!

This prolific author has too many books to spotlight at once so we're just spotlighting her...

Mystery writer Loretta Craig feels right at home when she’s working on a new book. With six novels in print, along with sixteen anthology books of poetry, she says, she’s just getting started. Her genre ranges from romance to mystery and suspense and poetry.

The Mystery of Emily Quillen, ILLUSIONS, Amber Ways, THE CONTROLLER; along with a murder mystery series; KILLER INSTINCTS and A PASSIONATE MURDER, and a new book due out sometime this year entitled; THE LAST LIE, the final chapter to the Killer Instincts series.

Her Killer Instincts series, takes place in Washington, D.C. with the lead character Detective Amanda Moore; a very head strong, independent young woman who isn’t afraid of taking chances when it comes to putting the bad guys where they belong – behind bars.

Whoever said that nice guys finish last, didn’t cross paths with this intelligent and spunky detective! Her novels deal with crime, lust, sex, and murder, with twists and turns around every corner, that will keep you turning the pages.

Craig is also writing a coffee table/cookbook with recipes and photos that reflects on life in the country. When she isn’t writing books, Craig is busy doing book signings, speaking engagements, writing workshops, along with cooking and spending time with her family; one of which is a favorite pastime, watching her 19 year old daughter Lori, in the ring. Lori Craig is a boxer, training for the 2010 Olympics.

“I don’t want to be stereo-typed. I want to write it all!” she says.
So, if you’re looking for a good book to read, check out any of Craig’s novels, in bookstores or online.

Whew! What a busy lady! Good luck with EVERYTHING, Loretta.

Ok friends, that wraps up another edition of Saturday Spotlight, be sure and check back weekly!

Until later...take care & be blessed!

I read The Controller and one other book. I enjoy her imagination. "crime, lust, sex, and murder, with twists and turns around every corner"… yes, all the important things!

Her daughter's in the ring? Most 19-year-olds would be happy with a ring in a box, not a boxing ring! Little wonder Loretta's books have color.
