Saturday Spotlight - Mary Connealy

Time to tug on those boots, kick up your heels and enjoy a Saturday Spotlight with western romance author, Mary Connealy! Today we are spotlighting Mary and her book, Calico Canyon.

Mary is the author of the historical western romantic comedy series: Lassoed in Texas, including Petticoat Ranch and Calico Canyon. She has recently signed an exclusive contract with Barbour Publishing that includes a third book in the series, Gingham Mountain, coming in February 2009. Golden Days which won the ACFW Book of the Year contest has being re-released as part of a three book anthology; Alaska Brides. Her first cozy mystery, Of Mice…and Murder, Book #1 of a three book cozy mystery series, part of the Heartsong Presents Mysteries book club is coming this November. And Buffalo Gal (October 08), The Clueless Cowboy (November 08) and The Bossy Bridegroom (December 08) are coming from Heartsong Presents. Find out more at http://www.maryconnealy.com/

Blub for Calico Canyon: Let yourself be swept away by this fast-paced romance, featuring Grace Calhoun, an instructor of reading, writing, and arithmetic, who, in an attempt to escape the clutches of a relentless pursuer, runs smack dab into even more trouble with the 6R's - widower Daniel Reeves, along with his five rowdy sons. When a marriage is forced upon this hapless pair - two people who couldn't dislike each other more - an avalanche isn't the only potential danger lurking amid the shadows of Calico Canyon. Will they make it out alive? Or end up killing each other in the process?

Sounds like a foot-stompin good time!

Well, hope you enjoyed this Saturday Spotlight! Join me next week when I feature fellow TWRP author, Rose Zediker and her book Through the Eyes of Love.

Until later take care and God Bless!
