Thursday Thoughts: Holidays...

Good Thursday Morning!

Well, it's been a fun (but BUSY!) couple of weeks. I drove in to Louisiana on Monday the 11th so I could spend time with my brother who was in from Alaska for his annual visit. Tuesday (19th) I brought him to the airport in Houston then came back and this coming Sunday I'll be heading back to Bandera and the Silver Spur Guest Ranch where we are packed solid through Thanksgiving week, so it doesn't look as though things will slow down anytime soon.....In fact I get tired just thinking about it LOL!

One week from today is Thanksgiving and a mere 4 weeks later is Christmas and then a whole new year is upon us.

For many folks, the holidays can be a time of stress and mixed emotions as we strive to make the memories good ones despite the year(s) past. Add to that grief over loved one's who've passed away or moved out of our life for whatever reason, and the holidays can leave one lonely and/or depressed.

This year let us all take a deep breath and remember what the season truly is about....or in all actuality, what EVERY day should be about.

What's that? you ask...

Life, love, peace, hope, joy, happiness, bliss, gratitude, blessing, giving, receiving, sharing....forgiveness....

As we move into the holiday season please take a moment to reflect on all of the GOOD in your life and with honest intention, vow to do this on a daily basis. Because when you focus on the beautiful things, the things to be grateful about, those things will magnify and outweigh the not-so-great.

Something to think about!
"Inspirational with an Edge!"

PS: Beginning today I am participating in a Holly Jolly Blog Hop so be sure and check back often as I'll be linking up with other bloggers to bring you tons of holiday cheer!

Oh and one more thing...if you're a Pinterest fan, I've got several boards up that might interest you so check 'em out!

*taking a deep breath*
I was just thinking along these very lines as I ran errands in preparation for next. Very good reminder. Thanks!
