Saturday Spotlight: Jacqueline Seewald

Good Morning Friends!

It's that time of the week again so please join me in welcoming fellow Five Star author, Jacqueline Seewald back to Saturday Spotlight! Jacqueline has lots of news so I'm turning the show over to her....

First, I’d very much like to thank Pam for inviting me to be the focus of her Spotlight blog this weekend.

September is an important month for me as an author. My co-authored mystery novel THE THIRD EYE: A PINE BARRENS MYSTERY is published in a hardcover edition on September 12th from Five Star/Gale/Cengage. Reviews are starting to appear. (That’s the hard part, waiting for reviews and hoping they will be good!)

I am particularly pleased by the recent review in Buried Under Books:
“The Third Eye was an excellent read and I highly recommend this book to readers of all ages and types.”
You can read the full review on the Buried Under Books blog. You can request this book at your local library or check it out @ Amazon and from the Publisher.

Harlequin Worldwide Mystery published two more of my Kim Reynolds librarian sleuth romantic mystery novels, THE INFERNO COLLECTION and THE TRUTH SLEUTH, available in low cost paperback editions this year. (They previously published THE DROWNING POOL in 2012).

On September 1st, they published DEATH LEGACY in a paperback edition. This stand alone novel is a fast-paced romantic suspense mystery/spy thriller. You’ll find it HERE.

The novel received excellent reviews from both BOOKLIST and PUBLISHERS WEEKLY among others.  Here are some blurbs from the reviewers: http://www.publishersweekly.com/978-1-4328-2573-7

“In this entertaining novel of romantic suspense from Seewald, international PI Michelle Hallam looks into the mysterious death of CIA agent James Parker… This thriller keeps moving from its very first pages, while the palpable sexual tension between new cohorts Daniel and Michelle fortifies the story's intrigue with romance.”

http://www.booklistonline.com/Death-Legacy-Jacqueline-Seewald/pid=5273579 “Seewald (The Drowning Pool, 2009; The Truth Sleuth, 2011) has written a tale of international intrigue sure to please fans of thrillers and romantic suspense.”

“I enjoyed the pace of the story as well as the bantering between the two main characters. This story will draw you in and keep your attention to the end. The author knows how to make her words dance across the page. If you’re looking for an exciting mystery/thriller, this book will work fine for you.” Long Short Reviews

“The plot is twisty as a thriller should be. The romance between Michelle and Daniel is heated...This is a good action thriller with a bit of romance and well developed plot…If you enjoy international thrillers with a bit of intrigue and romance, give Death Legacy a try.”   The Gumshoe Review

Last but not least, my first short story collection was recently published as a Kindle e-book.  BEYOND THE BO TREE features ten tales of romantic love, each unique and different. What the stories do have in common is bringing enjoyment and pleasure to readers. There are lovely reviews. Get your copy today from Amazon!

Happy fall reading!
