Good Morning and Welcome to another edition of Saturday Spotlight.
It's been a long, long while since our guest today visited the blog so please extende your warmest greetings to Donna B. Snow with her new, nonfiction book, Past, Present, and Future Why Everyone Should Read the Bible.
Thanks for joining us, Donna! Please tell us why you wrote this book...
2024 was a very unsettling year for all of us. The world was getting ever darker. Ir was getting harder and harder to tell right from wrong, and there didn’t seem to be much hope to be found.
I’ve read my Bible cover to cover several times and I know the end will come one day, but with everything that was going on I truly felt like the end was near
A Christian coworker introduced me to a couple of prophecy preachers and I started listening to them, one of whom is from Israel. After listening we would discuss what was going on in the world and how everything was pointing toward the end times.
This book is actually dedicated to those preachers (as well as my friend) for opening my eyes to prophecy, as well as to a few select people who have led me closer to God and to understanding how special the Bible is – and just how important it is to all of us.
I felt a strong tug on my heart during that time, to share that message, to help other people to see the Bible for what it truly is, a guidebook into the future.
The God who knows past, present, and future, has mapped it all out for us, even gave us markers and guideposts in time. They’re all in the book!
My book is just a glimpse of what can be found in His Word.

Wow, Interesting! I know there is a lot in the Bible about the end times and it's always good to hear someone else's opinion on that topic. Can we get a peek into the book?
Sure, here's the Blurb: Are you worried about everything that’s happening in the world today? Wars and rumors of wars all around the world…are you wondering if things will ever get better? Is World War III coming? Will the USA survive? And if not, what will the world be like?
Believe it or not, there’s a book that was written almost two thousand years ago that tells of things that have happened in the past as well as what’s going to happen in the future.
That book is the Bible. It isn’t about religion; it’s about the Creator’s love for us.
God’sWord is a guidebook to help us live the best lives we can. His mercy and love are strong enough to carry us through.
Excerpt: Should you read the Bible? The answer to that is ABSOLUTELY!
The Bible was a gift, written to help us understand the world we live in and get to know the God who loves us.
*******
Why should you read the Bible?
Because the Bible is the only way you will ever understand this world, even your own life.
This book has many facets. It is a book of history, a guidebook for our lives—and a hope for the future.

Thank You, Donna! Now tell us a little about yourself...
I’m a native New Englander, and I love the change of seasons, although I love winter less and less as it seems to get longer each year. But you can’t beat the beauty of fall colors, or the smell of things coming to life in spring. I’d love to have you join me in this, the springtime of my writing.
I write inspirational romances and women’s fiction, as well as Christian music.

Thanks for having me here! It’s been quite a while since I released anything, but God put this on my heart so I’m happy to share it! The Bible isn’t always easy to read and a lot of people don’t take the time, but they don’t know what they’re missing! I hope this short book will open their eyes to God’s message to all of us.
Happy to host you, Donna!
I needed this exact post this morning. Life does feel upside down these days.
Love this concept, Donna. I can always use more time in The Word. Blessings on your writing.
