A brag (like the editor is my sister) or a claim that you write edgy Christian fiction.

If you’re writing ‘edgy’ Christian fiction, then you can kiss on the first date; however, it’s not so much the kiss itself but the reaction to it by both the hero and heroine.

If I remember correctly, in one of Julie Lessman’s romances, (sometimes she’s ‘out on a limb’ edgy) the heroine slapped the hero even though the heroine wanted the kiss. What a way to generate a lot of conflict out of an innocent kiss.

Now, when I was going to college the coeds had a term for nice guys: they were called NATO dates. That’s No Action, Talk Only.

A kiss may be just a kiss, but a heroine is a whole different kettle of fish. You have to know what bait to use. : )

Vince

I’d like to win your book. : )Vincehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12707773426729777989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5214139537886339178.post-59936402678295405632013-08-29T17:00:43.511-05:002013-08-29T17:00:43.511-05:00Well, I don't think I've given kisses very...Well, I don't think I've given kisses very much thought until I read this post. I love that thought...that they are given too lightly and taken as such.

A kiss is a special gift that should be reserved until the time is right. So glad I'm married, so that I can get a kiss any time I want one, but again...wouldn't it be sweeter if we don't take them for granted, but make each one special?

Would love to receive a copy of your book.Jan Christiansenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16578696706386613012noreply@blogger.com
