Also gave away roomfuls of furniture. Now my closets and shelves are full in the cottage--no more book purchases unless I give away books already on the shelves. Libraries! Kindle! Like you, I've given away a tremendou...Hi Pam,<br /><br />Like you, I've given away a tremendous amount of books and clothing, mostly when we downsized from our house to an apartment. I do miss my many bookcases but I hope the donations to libraries will be of use to others. I no longer have room for many books and as I'm retired now, my work clothes can be better used by those who need them.
